Abstract

Banko mining system at the site begins with mining in the pit area after the coal is transported to the dump hopper to its reduced size and then fed to a conveyor belt and transported to the outpouring of coal tripper as a place to live stockpile. Target production of each dump hopper is 750 tons / hour but from field observations productivity dump hopper units 1 and 2 is 645 tons / hour and 655 tons / hour with a feed rate of conveyance 648 tons / hour and 661.65 tons / hours . This clearly shows that the productivity of the hopper does not achieve the planned targets . To address this need in mind productivity teorotis dump hopper and conveyance beforehand . From the calculation results obtained optimum productivity comprising a hopper dump hopper , belt conveyor and double roll crusher is 101.6 tons , 770 tons / hour and 771 tons / hour while the theoretical productivity conveyance dump hopper feeder units 1 and 2 is 648 tons / hour and 1346.083 tons / hour . By comparing the theoretical productivity hopper to the theoretical productivity of the conveyance. Known to attempt anything that can improve the productivity of each dump hopper is done by increasing the effective working time tool , adding units that dumping dump tuck into the dump hopper 1 and reduce the number of dump truck dumping hoppers to dump 2 . After the increase in the productivity of the dump hopper then obtained an increase in the productivity of each dump hopper of 761.23 tons / hour and 728.47 tons / hour to 17.7 hours of effective working time
