Abstract
The Balancing Railroad Detection Robot is a robot that can provide information on the slope of the railroad tracks, and coordinates of the slope location. the construction of the Railroad must be made sturdy, because it will be passed by the Train with a heavy burden, not only must be sturdy but also must be balanced, so as to maintain the stability of the railroad tracks when the train is passing. The aim of this final assignment is to build a railroad balance detection robot, with arduino MEGA 2560 as a microcontroller, MPU 6050 sensor as a sensor for determining slope, GPS NEO-6M module as a tool to obtain latitude and longitude coordinates and the results will be displayed on the LCD and stored by datalog into memory when given instructions to save data. Tests were carried out on the railroad tracks in Kertapati, Palembang. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, it shows that the robot succeeded in calculating the slope of railroad tract and its location coordinates with an average error percentage of four tests of 13.4%.
