Abstract

This study is a descriptive research which aims to describe students problem solving skill in mathematics learning using REACT learning strategy. Subject of this study are 24 students of Class VIII.b of Junior High School number 6 Gelumbang. The data are collected by written test and are used to know categories of students problem solving skill. There are five categories of students problem solving skill: very good, good, average, less, and poor. The result of this study shows that from 24 students, 8,3% are very good, 54,2% are good, 33,3% are average, 4,2% are less and no one get poor. The conclucion is that class VIII.b of Junior High School number 6 Gelumbang are good.
