Abstract

Pada lokasi penelitian menerapkan sistem penambangan terbuka dengan metode open pit. Alat angkut yang dipakai sebagai objek penelitian yaitu haul truck type Catterpillar 789 dengan kapasitas vessel sebesar 197 ton. Tingkat keberhasilan penambangan salah satunya ditandai dengan tercapainya target produksi. Salah satu variabel yang mempengaruhi produksi adalah cycle time. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk melihat hubungan antara cycle time teoritis dengan cycle time aktual dan cycle time software Talpac dengan aktual. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa cycle time alat angkut CAT 789 teoritis lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan aktual. Pada Pinang South cycle time teoritis lebih cepat sebesar 8,8%, di Bendilli Prima lebih cepat 14,8%, di Inul Midle lebih cepat 20,6% dan Inul East lebih cepat 14,1%. Cycle time Talpac lebih lambat dibandingkan dengan aktual. Pada Pinang South lebih lambat 20,8%, di Bendilli Prima lebih lambat 9,7%, Inul Midle lebih lambat 6,9%, dan Inul East lebih lambat 7,4%. Faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi cycle time adalah geometri jalan, jumlah traffic dumptruck, jarak angkut, tipe dumptruck yang digunakan, rimpull untuk mengatasi rolling resistance, grade resistance dan percepatan.
