Abstract
This report aims to assess the effectiveness of the HR function as well as provide recommendations on weakness findings found in the True Money Palembang Branch. HR activities studied included: HR planning, recruitment, employee selection and placement, employee training and development, career planning and development, performance appraisal, compensation and remuneration, occupational safety and health, employee job satisfaction, employment relations, and termination of employment . This study is a qualitative descriptive study by describing the assessment of the effectiveness of the HR function based on the results of a comparison between conditions, criteria., causes, and consequences. This study uses data collection methods of documentation. observation, and interviews. The results showed that the activities of the HR function that had been running effectively were recruitment, employee selection and placement, performance appraisal, employment relations, compensation and remuneration, occupational health and safety, and termination of employment. While activities that have not been effective are HR planning, employee training and development, career planning and development, and employee job satisfaction. Based on these findings, suggestions were given that could be used as input for management to improve and improve the effectiveness of HR functions, namely management must have criteria in HR planning, conduct training and career development needed by employees , have plans to develop employee careers, hold job satisfaction assessments employees, as well as periodic HR audits
