Abstract

SUMMARY This research is talk more “Family Function Of Women After Divorced In Prabumulih”. The problem of research related with women family function in their own family after divorced. The purpose of this research is to know how’s women do their own family function after divorced. In determination of informan had choosed of purposive. The purpose of that to get detail information as problem of researcher it self. The strategy of research which used is based on cases with data collection technicque in from of interviews, observation, and documentation. This research is used family’s theory by Paul B. Horton and Charles L. Hunt. The result of this research is to show us that women social life after divorce who have impact of social attitude, social relatiton and women social environtment of divorced. and in economic life of women after getting divorced who have work will added economic needed by doing as side job. Meanwhile for woman after getting divorced who which not work will looking for job for fully economic familly needed. Then by theory according Horton and Hunt among that is sexual arrangment function, reproduction, socialize, afection, status given, protection and economic. There are two function which not fully done after divorced there are sexual arrangment function and reproduction function. For woman who had divorced, in familly function side could fully done but it is not totally perfect because father’s role inside familly has been lost. Keywords: Family Function, Women, Divorced
