Abstract

This research aims to assess accountability in managing village funds in Sembawa sub-district, Banyuasin district. This research can be categorized as qualitative descriptive study with primary and secondary data. This research used interview and documentation as data collection technique and analyzed by using Miles and Huberman models. The result of this research indicate that the management of village funds in Sembawa subdistrict, Banyuasin disrtrict has been accountable. This condition is also supported by management of village fund, which start from planning stage until accountability stage, has been accountable and applies the principles of participation and transparency. However, the submission of this accountability report is still delivered with oral media on year end of village’s meeting.
