Abstract
The study about using factor analysis to form latent factor with maximum likelihood as parameters supposing method and that influence student achievement in Mathematic Major of Mathematic and Natural Science Faculty of Sriwijaya University. The conclusion of this application is formed 8 common factors. They are Completeness of Study Facilities, Family Background, Study System, Motivation and Friends, Interesting to Study Mathematic, Perception to Lecture, Academic Service and Computer Laboratory Completeness, and Discipline of Study to Get Good Marks. Total variance explained by 8 factors is 64.29%. So that the model fit has reached.
