Abstract

The Jakabaring 2MW Solar Power Plant is one of the PLTS built in Indonesia which is equipped with polycrystalline solar panels with a capacity of 315Wp totaling 5,248 panel units where each series consists of 32 panels then every 7 series of panels will be connected to a combiner box so that it is necessary to pay attention to the ability of these solar panels in generating output power. From research data when sunny conditions produce a maximum power of 60570 W at 13.00 WIT with an irradiation value of 1048.29 W/m2 and a PV temperature of 52.48℃ while when rainy conditions produce a maximum power of 27180 W at 15.00 WIT with an irradiation value of 441.92 W/m2 and the PV temperature is 40.25℃ and the efficiency value obtained has decreased by 0.4% to 0.6% per year where the lowest efficiency is 13.22% which is produced in 2022 while the highest efficiency is 16.18% which is produced in 2018. It can be concluded that weather conditions, solar irradiation, and PV temperature affect the power generated by solar panels and these solar panels are still feasible to use because until now the efficiency produced is still within the optimal range.
