Abstract

Universitas Sriwijaya kampus Palembang adalah universitas yang diminati oleh calon mahasiswa baru. Dengan bertambahnya mahasiswa maka akan bertambah juga kendaraan yang masuk dan parkir di area kampus. Oleh sebab itu perlu suatu kebijakan untuk merencanakan pembangunan gedung parkir bertingkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui layak atau tidak layaknya pembangunan gedung parkir untuk dilaksanakan dengan volume kendaraan (mobil pribadi) per hari 1900 dan rencana anggaran biaya pembangunan gedung parkir di Universitas Sriwijaya kampus Palembang sebesar Rp. 28,646,283,569. Pendapatan diperoleh dari tarif parkir gedung parkir bertingkat. Tarif parkir mempunyai dua alternatif tarif parkir, yaitu tarif parkir sebesar Rp. 5.000 dan tarif parkir sebesar Rp. 10.000. Pada tarif parkir pertama sebesar Rp.5.000 dinyatakan tidak layak karena NPV < 0, BCR < 1, dan IRR < suku bunga, sedangkan pada tarif kedua sebesar Rp. 10.000 dinyatakan layak karena didapat NPV = 16.039.783.615,26 ,BCR = 1,51, IRR = 25,84% ,dan payback period selama 9,58 tahun.
