Abstract
One of the most interesting construction is of concrete construction. Concrete is a mbcture of Portland cement or other hydraulic cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, and water with or without additional mbcture to form a solid future. In this research, the effect of adding gray investigation palm shells that result in changes in the compressive strength of concrete, with a variation of the quantity of each ash shell by 5%, 10%, and 15% on the variation of each test sample at day 3, day 7, day 14, day 28, and day 56. parameters were measured to determine the quality of the concrete is the compressive strength of concrete. From the research result of adding ash concrete quality is best shell with the addition of 5% ash shell and the test sample at day 56, where concrete results are obtained by the addition of ash shells have an average compressive strength of 411.11 kg/cm2
