Abstract
Now a days, with these developments particularly in the construction industry, mcmy discoveries as an altemative in choosing the main building, especially wali filler. Wall panel is one of the wali filler which is popular in Indonesia recently. Foaming agent will be used in this research. It is kind of Chemicals that will produce the stable foam and a lighter mortar for the wali panel. This research will discuss aboul the influence of the acldition of the foam in the mortar towards compressive strength, density, and water absorption by volume ratio variation between mortar: foam. Stages in the research include the study of literature, material preparation, material testing, the making of sample, sample testing and analysis of results. Results of the testing in laboratory showed that by the age of 10 days of testing, the mixture composition of 1:0.8, 1:1, and 1:1.2 for Baturaja foam mortar, the accomplishment of compressive strength successively 20:44%, 17:05%, 14:26% and the density 59.77% , 53.28%, 48.37%, and the addition of water absorption 74.88%, 85.02%, and 95.98%. For Talang Balai foam mortar at the age of 10 days of testing, the accomplishment of compressive strength successively 24.41%, 19.80%, 16.01% and the density 60.84% , 54.87%, 48.64%, and the addition of water absorption 41.67%, 62.92%, and 97.73% .
