Abstract

HANDBALL PHYSICAL TEST MEASUREMENT ON STUDENTS OF SMP NEGERI 2 INDRALAYA UTARA USING OUTDOR LABORATURIUM IN EDUCATIONAL PARK.This study aims to determine the physical condition of North Indralaya 2 Public Middle School students. By using the survey method or observation through the handball physical endurance test of North Indralaya 2 Public Middle School students as a data collection technique. The research entitled Measurement of handball physical tests for junior high school students Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara Using outdoor laboratories in educational parks covering tests of explosive power (power), speed, endurance, strength and agility. This research was conducted on students of SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara which is quantitative descriptive in nature. With a sample size of 30 students consisting of 22 males and 8 females, data collection used tests using the following instruments: power using a vertical jump test, speed using a 40 meter run test, endurance using a bleep test, strength using the push up and sit up test and, agility using the shuttle run test. The research was conducted in an outdoor laboratory at the FKIP educational park. Data analysis techniques in this study used quantitative descriptive analysis techniques with percentages obtained from the following test results 3 people (10%) in the very good category, 6 people (20%) in the good category, 11 people (37%) in the enough category, 9 people (30%) in the less category, 1 person (3%) in the very less category. From the data obtained, it shows that the physical level of students at North Indralaya 2 Public Junior High School is classified as good. After this research is carried out, it is hoped that awareness will be given to students of North Indralaya 2 Middle School to continue to improve their physical condition so that there is an improvement in physical condition so as to get maximum results to achieve good achievement.
