Abstract
Global trade liberalization which is characterized by the elimination of import duties and other trade barriers will create the world and domestic foods markets increasingly integrated spatially. The study of integration model in Indonesian rice markets with the world done because Indonesia still do import rice, although the volume is constantly pressured by the government. This will be related to the availability of food, especially rice in the domestic market when an interruption occurs in the world market. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Indonesian rice market integration with world rice market. The study used time series secondary data such as monthly price of rice in Indonesian is co-integrated to the world. The result showed that in the short run and long run world rice market and Indonesia rice market does not affect each other. In the short run world and Indonesia rice price are affected by changes in the price of rice respectively in the previous period. This condition is a consequence of rice import policy (tariff and non-tariff) applied by Indonesia.
