Abstract

The agricultural sector has a very significant role and contribution to achieving economic development if managed properly. One of the agricultural lands that is considered as a source of agricultural production land because of its condition which has many advantages is lebak swamp land. The research location is in the Kotadaro I Village Rantau Panjang District Ogan Ilir Regency. The aims of this study were (1) calculating the income of swamp rice farmers in Kotadaro I Village Rantau Panjang District, (2) to analyze the consumption patterns of swamp rice farmers in Kotadaro I Village Rantau Panjang District, (3) To determine the effect of rice farming income on the consumption pattern of lebak swamp rice farmers in Kotadaro I Village Rantau Panjang District. The research location is in the Kotadaro I Village Rantau Panjang District Ogan Ilir Regency. The time of the research was carried out in November 2022. The data collection method used a survey method with questionnaires and interviews with a total of 35 farmer respondents whose main livelihood is rice farming. The results obtained from the following research are (1) The income of rice farmers in Kotadaro I Village is with an average total income of Rp19.953.383,- per year's cultivated area (2) The consumption pattern of the lebak swamp rice farmers in Kotadaro I Village is in accordance with their income level, which is Rp14.050.113,- for annual expenditure (3) From the results of a simple linear regression test using SPSS 2.6 for windows, it was found that there was an influence between rice farming income on the consumption pattern of lebak swamp rice farmers in Kotadaro I Village.
