Abstract

Parliamentary diplomacy is diplomacy carried out by parliamentary whose diplomacy track is between government and non-government. Indonesia has a parliament, namely the DPR RI in carrying out its parliamentary diplomacy, and the DPR RI has an Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency to strengthen parliamentary diplomacy in order to achieve national interests in international forums. It is through this BKSAP that the DPR RI has the space to actively carry out parliamentary diplomacy by becoming a member, administrator, and on several occasions being the initiator of regional and international parliamentary organizations and establishing bilateral relations with parliaments of other countries. Various contemporary issues related to Indonesia's interests such as issues of terrorism which are important issues of concern to members of the Indonesian Parliament in various international meeting forums at the Asia Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF).
