Abstract
Education is one of the keys to national quality. Through learning, students can prepare and expand their potency in order to face the challenges of the 21st century. Critical thinking skills are one of the abilities that students must possess. This study aims to describe students' critical thinking skills at SMA Srijaya Negara on projectile motion. The research method used is the quantitative descriptive method. The research instrument was a critical thinking skill test based on Ennis in the form of an essay. The test was given to 101 students of classes X IPA 1, X IPA 2, and X IPA 3. In general, the results of the research show that the critical thinking skills of X grade SMA Srijaya Negara on projectile motion are still very low, with percentage achievements of X IPA 1 (36,19%), X IPA 2 (22,62%), and X IPA 3 (20%). Because of this, students' critical thinking skills still need to be improved. Students must be more active in their learning, and teachers must encourage students to think critically.
