Abstract
To overcome the spread of Covid-19 in Palembang, the city government and various related agencies are making sundry efforts, such as tightening health protocols, holding mass PCR tests, and conducting close contact tracing of Covid�19 positive patients. However, to carry out these efforts, effectively, an information system is needed that can accurately and real-time reveal the spread of Covid-19 in Palembang. The purpose of this research is to assist the city government and related agencies in mapping and monitoring the spread of Covid�19 in the city of Palembang. The results of this study are a Geographic Information System for Mapping the Spread of Covid-19 Cases in the City of Palembang which of course will be very helpful in providing information about the spread of Covid-19 cases and also the level of danger in each sub-district with 5 categories of calculations regarding the mapping of Covid-19 in Palembang. Namely, class I with a range of 66-80 has very high hazard criteria, class II with a range of 51-65 has criteria for a high hazard level, class III with a range of 36-50 has medium level criteria, class IV with a range of 36-50 has a level criteria low hazard, and class V with a range of 5-20 has a very low hazard level.
