Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Strategi Kebun Raya Sriwijaya (KRS) Di Desa Bakung Kecamatan Indralaya Utara Kabupaten Ogan Ilir Dalam Rangka Meningkatkan Destinasi Wisata”. Kebun Raya Sriwijaya merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata yang ada di provinsi Sumatera Selatan dan satu-satunya Kebun Raya yang berdiri di lahan basah dan gambut. Namun kenyataannya, jumlah kunjungan wisatawan baik domestik maupun mancanegara ke kawasan Kebun Raya Sriwijaya masih sangat rendah bila dibandingkan dengan objek wisata lainnya di Sumatera Selatan. Untuk itu perlu dilakukannya analisis pengelolaan untuk meningkatkan wisatawan di Kebun Raya Sriwijaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Strategi Kebun Raya Sriwijaya (KRS) Di Desa Bakung Kecamatan Indralaya Utara Kabupaten Ogan Ilir Dalam Meningkatkan Wisatawan dengan menggunakan teori analisis SWOT. Kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman yang dimiliki UPTB KRS Sumatera Selatan dianalisis secara metode deskriptif kualitatif. Menurut hasil analisis tersebut diperolah gambaran bahwa Kebun Raya Sriwijaya masih membutuhkan pengelolaan berkelanjutan baik itu dari segi sarana, prasarana, aksesibiltas, infrastruktur maupun lokasi-lokasi wisata sebagai daya tarik wisata dalam meningkatkan wisatawan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa KRS memiliki kekuatan dan peluang untuk mengatasi segala kelemahan dan ancaman yang ada dalam meningkatkan destinasi wisata. Disarankan bagi UPTB KRS menambahkan fasilitas pendukung destinasi wisata atau penelitian serta memperkuat promosi wisata. Kata kunci : Analisis SWOT, Kebun Raya Sriwijaya, Strategi, Wisatawan This research is entitled "Sriwijaya Botanical Garden Strategy in Bakung Village, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency in the Context of Increasing Tourism Destinations”. The Sriwijaya Botanical Garden is one of the tourist destinations in the province of South Sumatra and the only Botanical Garden that stands on wetlands and peat. However, in reality, the number of tourist visits, both domestic and foreign, to the Sriwijaya Botanical Gardens area is still very low when compared to other tourist attractions in South Sumatra. For this reason, it is necessary to carry out a management analysis to increase tourists at the Sriwijaya Botanical Gardens. This study aims to analyze the strategy of the sriwijaya botanical garden (krs) in bakung village, indralaya utara district, ogan ilir regency in increasing tourism by using the SWOT analysis theory. The strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the South Sumatra KRS UPTB were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. According the results of this analysis, an overview is obtained that the Sriwijaya Botanical Gardens still need sustainable management both in terms of facilities, infrastructure, accessibility, infrastructure and tourist sites as a tourist attraction in increasing tourists. It can be concluded that KRS has strengths and opportunities to overcome all weaknesses and threats that exist in improving tourist destinations. It is recommended that UPTB KRS add supporting facilities for tourist or research destinations and strengthen tourism promotion.
