Abstract

The aims of this research were to evaluation shrimp pond water quality in order to get the class of water suitability. This research was conducted on June 3 to July 11 2008 in shrimp aquaculture owned by PT. Tirta Bumi Nirbaya. Random sampling method was used to determine the station and sample measure was taken by in situ and analysed at National Seafarming Development Center Lampung. The results showed that water suitability of the shrimp pond including into marginal and excellent suitable level. The evaluation result of water quality on June 8th 2008 including into marginal suitable level with the total score between 45-49. The evaluation result of water quality on June 21st 2008 including into excellent suitable level with the total score 88 and then the total score on June 26th 2008 including excellent suitable level (75,4-99,4).
