Abstract

A street-lamp is a part of complement building that can be setting or placed in right or left of Street or in the middle of Street that can be used for lighted the Street. At Sukamo-Hatta Street in Palembang city there’s a street-lamp there is a street-lamp which still active and lit-well so it can investigated does the street-lamp has an impact for speed while driving in evenings time and does the street-lamp has an impact to level of quality Service on daytime and evenings time. Obtained the results of research which State that distribution of speed is 85 percents of drivers in a daytime is 42 km/hours and 44 km/hours, for distribution of speed is 15 percents of drivers is 22 km/hours and 23 km/hours. Meanwhile distribution of speed is 85 percents drivers in evenings time is 49 km/hours and 49 km/hours, for distribution of speed is 15 percents of drivers is 24 km/hours and 23 km/hours. Meanwhile the difference is 85 percents of drivers in daytime and evenings time is 7 km/hours and 5 km/hours. If in the presentation the vehicles speed in evenings time is increased be 16,67% and 11,36%. And then the difference of distribution of speed is 15 percents of drivers in daytime and evenings time is 2 km/hours and 0 km/hours. If in the presentation the vehicles speed in the evenings time increased be 9,09 km/hours and 0 km/hours. By using Greenshield method then the result of calculation can be concluded that for 85 percents vehicles speed in evenings time with a street-lamp is increased by 16,67% and 11,36% from daytime. And for 15 percents vehicles speed in evenings time with a street-lamp is increased by 9,09% and 0% fforn daytime and the result of hypothesis tests State that Street quality daytime and evenings time is significantly not changed or the impact of streetlamp is not affected the Street quality Service
