Abstract

fhis research diseusses about the inlluence ol using gold mine tailings as substitution of fine aggregates with concrete planmng K300 without the addition of additives or other ingredients that can affect the outeome of the tailings. In this research. density tesi and compressive strength test al the age of3. 7. 14. 21. and 28 days with each of the tailings percentagc of 0°o. 50° b. and 100%. The results showed that the greater the percentagc of tailings is used it will become lighter Density of concrete for tailings percentagc 50% and 100% of normal concrete is 6.71% and 7.25%. And also the greater the percentagc ol used tailings decreased strength concrete. The strength of concrete for tailings percentagc 50% and 100% of normal concrete (tailings 0%) ol 21.90% and 35.90°o. Concrete llc.vural strength test was perfomicd al 28 days with a percentagc 50° o of the tailings. the results show the rclationship between concrete compressive strength and fiexural strength of concrete in the same eondition that fr 0.71 'i f'c (MPa) values indicate greater than recommended ACI 318M-05 is f, 'l f'c (MPa).
