Abstract

Website yang dimiliki di beberapa universitas memiliki fungsi sebagai repositori untuk menampung tugas akhir mahasiswa. web yang menggunakan ontology web language diharapkan menjadi solusi dalam proses pencarian. Metode yang digunakan melibatkan implementasi pencarian judul tugas akhir dengan memanfaatkan ontology web language (OWL) dan user model pada sebuah website. Data yang digunakan diperoleh dari pengambilan data primer pada website SIPETA Unsri dan disimpan dalam repository Protege dengan query SPARQL dan user model dengan MySQL. Terdapat 250 data sebagai data pengujian. Pengujian dilakukan dengan membandingkan berdasarkan keyword input dan hasil pencarian yang telah dilakukan oleh website. Berdasarkan perbandingan query, website dengan ontology web language tidak memerlukan penggunaan join table karena kemampuan reasoning yang sudah dimilikinya. Berdasarkan hasil pencarian yang dilakukan menggunakan 5 keyword, website dengan OWL mampu menghasilkan pencarian yang tepat, sedangkan website user model memiliki kesalahan pada hasil pencarian. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa Website dengan OWL menghasilkan pencarian yang lebih sesuai daripada website non-OWL.
