Abstract

Generation Z is a generation whose life is inseparable from the influence of the times and advances in increasingly sophisticated technology, one of which is the internet. With the presence of the internet, it is hoped that it can take advantage of this by doing positive things so that filter filters are needed such as the application of character education, which is currently character Each generation Z student begins to erode due to the influence of globalization. Through this research, the author aims to reveal the implementation of the concept of character education according to Ki Hadjar Dewantara in shaping the character of Generation Z students by using a library research method with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted by collecting library data, reading, and living up to the research material related to the discussion. The results showed that the concept of Ki Hadjar Dewantara character education is still appropriate and able to be implemented in the life of generation Z students in the face of globalization.
