Abstract

Pembuangan sampah plastik dan kertas dengan tidak membuang sampah pada tempatnya dapat berakibat terjadinya lingkungan yang tidak bersih. Hal ini menjadi latar belakang dibutuhkannya suatu sistem pengolahan daur ulang sampah anorganik khusunya sampah kertas dan plastik. Sebuah pendekatan terhadap pembuatan proses daur ulang sampah anorganik pengolahan air limbah untuk pemukiman di atas lahan rawa dibahas dalam studi ini. Data-data yang menjadi variabel penunjang dalam studi ini antara lain data site plan Perumahan Rumah Murah Musi II Palembang dan data standar penggunaan air bersih berdasarkan kategori kota. Hasil analisa dari datadata tersebut akan menghasilkan estimasi debit air limbah yang akan digunakan untuk menghitung rencana dimensi dan biaya pembuatan unit pengolahan air limbah. Berdasarkan perhitungan didapat estimasi air limbah yang dihasilkan sebesar 760 m3/hari. Setelah dianalisa, didapatkan pengolahan air limbah jenis Baffled Septic Tank untuk 100 KK sebagai desain yang paling ekonomis diantara alternatif lain.
