Abstract

Entrepreneurship program has been a national policy as one of the solutions to eliminate unemployment. This gives an implication to entrepreneurship as a national curriculum in every study program and includes it to achieve the learning outcome from the department profile. However, the study materials of entrepreneurship that are being used in teaching and learning process is very complex and involving other disciplines. Therefore, it is important to examine materials relevance and learning method of entrepreneurship in higher education level (universities).The study is conducted in public and private universities with 304 students, from various disciplines, as study sample. The disciplines selected are those that have entrepreneurship in their curriculum. The results show that there are differences in teaching and learning materials in the same faculties or different faculties in some universities. Similarly, on the topics of innovation, creativity, proactive and risk taking, it shows that these topics have not delivered through relevant learning method as proposed by student-based learning models.
