Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui jenis pupuk hayati yang efisien dan efektif dalam mengurangi penggunaan pupuk anorganik serta meningkatkan produksi jagung di lahan rawa pasang surut. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Bulan Juni sampai September 2012 di Desa Banyu Urip Kec. Tanjung Lago, Telang, Kabupaten Banyuasin. Penelitian terdiri dari enam perlakuan Go (Varietas Bisi 2 + 100% pupuk Standar (kontrol utama)), Gi (Varietas Bisi 2 + 50% pupuk Standar (kontrol kedua)), G2 (Galur jagung B41 + Bio-P + Phosmit), G3 (Galur jagung B41 + Mikoriza), G4 (Galur jagung L164 + Sumber subur (Azosporillium)), G5 (Galur jagung S201 + Biofitalik), G6 (Galur jagung B41 + Biofitalik). Pengolahan data menggunakan metode Analisis Statistik Sederhana Standar Deviasi dan Korelasi Linier Sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya korelasi yang nyata antara pemberian pupuk hayati terhadap produksi jagung. Perlakuan pupuk hayati Bio P + Phosmit lebih efisien dan efiktif untuk mengurangi penggunaan pupuk anorganik dalam budidaya tanaman jagung di lahan rawa pasang surut. Walaupun belum mampu memberikan produksi yang tinggi, tetapi lebih menguntungkan dari segi analisis ekonomi.
