Abstract
In the beginning of 2008 at Kelurahan Talang Kelapa Kecamatan Alang-alang Lebar Palembang City, CitraGrand City was estabilished. This project is able to increase coefisien run off. Which increase maximum the flood discharge fluctuation when it’s raining and minimum the flood discharge when it’s dry. The research goals are to review how far the effects of CitraGrand City project towards the flood discharge at catchments area of Talang Kelapa. Also whether the drainage capacity existing enable to receive water from CitraGrand City project The aim of this study was used three method to calculate design flood rarely Radonal Method, Unit Hydrograph Method and Modiflcation of the Rational Method. Secondaiy data was needed are rainfall data, data of landuse, and data of topography. Primary data needed are measuring the dimension and outlet elevation for reaching long stalion and cross station outlet catchments area of Talang Kelapa. The research in the form of the design flood pre and post CitraGrand City project. The comparison drainage outlet capacity and the flood discharge design showed the receiving capacity of drainage the flood discharge existing at the outlet catchments area.of Talang Kelapa. The flood discharge is one of vital indicator wether or not the drainage outlet existing receive water discharge of CitraGrand City.
