Abstract
The research was objected to (1) describe the women labor contribution in the rice field farm, (2) count the income from the rice field farm, (3) analyzed the correlation of women labor contribution with income from the rice field farm. The research was hold on April to May 2005. The research was conducted by survey method with simple random sampling. Data was collected by interview to farmer with use questionaire as primary data and secondary data was collected by reference and some institution. The result showed that the women labor contribution have positive correlation with income. The contribute of women labor includes land preparation activity, seeding, planting, manuring, grass cleaning and harvesting. The average of women labor contribution base on the work time is 1156,13 JKW per years and the days equel man work is 16,73 HKSP per years. The average of the rice field farm income are 3.745.744,56 rupies per hectare. By Spearman rank correlation test showed that the correlation of women labor contribution with farm income base on women work time and the days work equal man regulary are rs count (0,53), significan at p = 0,95 (rs table (0,306). That mean there was positive correlation between the women of contribution labor with income from the rice field farm in Pemulutan Ulu Village, Ogan Ilir.
