Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Current Ratio Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Asset Turnover to Dividend Payout Ratio with Return On Asset 35 Intervening Variable either directly or indirely. There are 45 companies in LQ 45 as t he population in use in this study, so the Samples obtained in accordance with the requirements - the conditions that researchers use as many as15 companies listed on LQ 45 on the BEI using purposive sampling method during the period 2013 - 2017. This study aims to analyze the effect of Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Asset Turnover on the Dividend Payout Ratio with Return on Assets as lntervening Variables both directly and indirectly. There are 45 companies in LQ 45 as the population used in this study, so that the samples obtained by 15 companies registered in LQ 45 o n the BEI use purposive sampling method during the 2013 -2017 period. The analysis technique used in this study is path analysis and Sobel test. The results showed that Current Ratio, Total Asset Turnover had a positive and insignificant effect on the Dividend Payout Ratio, while Debt to Equity Ratio had a significant negative effect on the Dividend Payout Ratio. Return On Assets as an intervening variable can mediate the effect of Current Ratio, Total Asset Turnover on Dividend Payout Ratio but Return On Assets as an intervening variable cannot mediate the influence of Debt to Equiry Ratio on the Dividend Payout Ratio. The implications of this study indicate that Current Ratio and Total Asset Turn over influence and are mediated to the DPR through ROA as an intervening variable.
