Abstract
Objectives: The government regulation about the granting of exclusive breastmilk among others aims to ensure the fulfillment of the right to obtain exclusive breastfeeding babies from birth up with respect to growth and development, providing protection to the mother in providing exclusive breastfeeding, and improve role and support of family, community, local government, and the government to exclusive breastfeeding. But in implementation, this regulation to have obstacles and challenges in several aspects. So that this paper tries to identify it in implementation. Methods: This paper was a descriptive review of thought of a review of government policy on granting of exclusive breastmilk. The analysis used analisys of policy. Results: Based on the regulation, every new mother should give to babies the exclusive breastmilk, unless there was a medical indication. But in some places public facilities, such as in offices, in the mall, the station has not provided facilities for mothers expressing breastmilk. Some women working will have obstacles if no adequate facilities for expressing breastmilk as a special room, squeezing the hygienic equipment. Also needs to be investigated support health workers in health facilities in conducting Early Initiation of Breastfeeding. Some hospitals there are not implementing rooming mother and baby so that the baby was given to her mother at certain times. Other obstacles there are still the manufacturers done intensive approach to the mother to offer products in maternity clinics. Conclusion: There are still some obstacles and challenges in implementation of the regulation exclusive breastmilk, that can hinder the success of program exclusive breastfeeding. This suggested the need for socialization this regulation so that it can be implemented properly in the field with appropriate supervision and sanctions.
