Abstract
Safety for residents inside the building and its environment must be a primary consideration for fire hazards. the number of lives threatened by a fire resulting in the need for an Emergency Response Plan to anticipate if a disaster occurs, especially fire. Design used in this study is decristive research using a qualitative approach. In the selection of informants using purposive sampling techniques. In calculating the evacuation time using SFPE 3rd Handbook Of Fire Protection Engineering 2002 standard. This study aims to make an Emergency Response Plan (ERP) analysis in accordance with NFPA 101 life safety code and Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum RI Nomor 20 Tahun 2009. Research results show that the exit facilities in the building have 3 (three) exits, namely the front door, the right door and the left door, while the corridor is quite wide and is not blocked by objects and the floor is not slippery, but the building area does not yet have a gathering point (assembly point) , while the exit directions are only on level 1 and the blackboard is not clearly visible. The communication channel when there is a fire is to contact the security and household parts but do not have an emergency number specifically for emergencies. There is no written policy for fire prevention and control. Evacuation time needed for the exit is 117,8 seconds or 1,96 minutes. The need to immediately make policies regarding emergency response procedures, the making of gathering points, fulfillment of evacuation signs such as evacuation routes, APAR placement signs and evacuation maps in building areas and the re-establishment of special teams for fire prevention and building supervision.
