Abstract

This research is based on the problem that there are still many private universities in Palembang City that have not been accredited institution. The location of data collection on Institution Accreditation for Private University in Palembang City is in Coordination Office of Private Higher Education Region II of Palembang City, this research aims to know how Implementation of Ministerial Regulation No.32 Year 2016 About Accreditation of Study Program and Higher Education by Higher Education Coordination Private Region II in Palembang city is running. This study uses Qualitative Descriptive research method with data collection techniques, in-depth interviews, and observation. This study uses the theory according to Mirelee S.Grindle as a reference in knowing how the Policy Implementation of Ministerial Regulation No.32 of 2016 on the Accreditation of Study Programs and Higher Education are discussing about the still many private universities in Palembang City that has not been accredited institutions focus this research is at Sjakhyakirti University of Palembang. The results showed that the level of compliance of the University of Sjakhyakirti Palembang City is still not good in the implementation of Institutional Accreditation because it still has an inhibiting factor in its implementation, the conclusion of the existence of this research is the level of compliance from each college is different, resulting in hampered policies that have been established. The author in this study expects the University of Sjakhyakirti to change the system of lectures and activities that exist in the campus Sjakhyakirti Palembang and improve the performance of existing employees at the University of Sjakhyakirti for inhibiting factors can be minimized in order to achieve the goal of Accreditation Institution can be achieved well.
