Abstract

Tanjung Api-api Port is a water area that is strongly influenced by tides, currents, ports and agriculture resulting in changes in sedimentation and changes in coastlines both abrasion and accretion around the coast. The purpose of this study is to analyze the sedimentation rate at Tanjung Api-api Port, analyze changes in coastline in Tanjung Api-api Port, and analyzed the dynamics of coastline changes and sedimentation rate in Tanjung Api Port. This research was conducted in December 2022 at Tanjung Api-api Port, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. The methods used in this study were remote sensing and field surveys. The results showed the highest sedimentation rate at station 3 of 16,6 mg/cm³/day and the lowest at station 4 of 6,2 mg/cm³/day. Dynamics of coastline changes 2018-2022 in the form of sedimentation at stations 1, 2, 3, and 4 and abrasion at station 5 with the highest accretion of land change at station 1 with the addition of land 101,7 meters and land changes due to abrasion at station 5 with a land reduction of 1,3 meters.
