Abstract

The streel-lamp is an impor tani infrstruciure facility that can’t he separaled from (he road construction hecause street-lamp has an important role in (he evening Time give visibility /hai can make drivers feel comforiable while driving. Al Soekarno-Hatta Street in Palembang city there is street-lamp which is still active and operate well so that will investigate does with the existance of the street-lamp, there are dijference of vehicles speed at day time and evening time and does the streetlamp has impact to capacity of the road. This research is used Greenshild Method, and get the residt from this research which States that for day time’s speed is 40,585 Km/h and 41,828 Km/h while in evening time ’s speed is 51,59 Km/h and 48,86 Km/h. In the presentation, the vehicles speed in evening time is increased by 27,12% and 16,812%. For the impact of street-lamp to Soekarno-Hatta Street capasities, il take hypothesis test. Based an the results of calculalion whilh Greenshild method, can be conclnded that for vehicles speed on evening time white the existance of street-lamp is increased by 27,12% and 16,812% from day time, and the results ofhyphotesis test stating that street-lamp has an impact to Soekarno-Hatta Street capasities.
