Abstract

This study is conducted in order to know the saving behavior of Sriwangi village community in Ogan Komering Ulu Timur district. This behavior is determined by the level of income and the number of family members. The method used is proportional stratified random sampling technique. The Analysis technique used is ordinary least square. The result showed that the level of income has a positive effect and also the number of family members has a negative effect with the value of coefficient of determination is 0. 708571 or it gives an effect of 70.86 percent against the saving behavior of Sriwangi village community in Ogan Komering Ulu Timur district. Partially, the level of income and the number of family members affect the saving behavior of Sriwangi village community in Ogan Komering Ulu Timur district significantly.
