Abstract
The objective of this study is to analyze the factors that affect the distribution of the banking credit in Indonesia in the period of 2001-2017. To analyze the variables studied in this study the author uses the multiple regression analysis with Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The dependent variable in this study is the Credit Demand and the independent variables are the Interest Rate of Credit, the Gross Domestic Product and the Inflation. The results of this study indicate that the Interest Rate of Credit, the Gross Domestic Product and the Inflation simultaneously have a positive and significant impact on the Credit Demand. Partially, the Interest Rate of Credit has a negative and significant effect on the Credit Demand, the Per capita Income has a positive and significant effect on the Credit Demand, and the Inflation also has a negative and significant effect on the Credit Demand in Indonesia.
