Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of self disclosure to marital satisfaction of husband and wife in Pagaralam. The hypothesis that there is role of self disclosure to marital satisfaction of husband and wife in Pagaralam. The subject were 150 husband and wife in Pagaralam with duration of marriage 1-20 years and have aged 18-48 years old. Data collection method used here are self disclosure and marital satisfaction scale. This study used Quota Sampling technique as data collection technique. The result were analyzed using simple linier regression analysis. The result of regression analysis showed that R=0,418, R square=0,175 and P=0,000 (p(0,05) that means the role of self disclosure to marital satisfaction is 17,5%. This result shows that the hypothesis in this study were accepted.
