Abstract

Masalah pada cold formed Steel yaitu mudah terjadi tekuk pada dinding tipis penampang diantaranya local buckling, distorlional buckling, dan global buckling. Rasio antara dimensi lebar dan ketebalannya sangat besar sehingga akibat beban tekan aksial sering kali cold formed Steel mengalami local buckling sebelum mencapai kekuatan maksimumnya. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisa tekuk berbagai profil cold formed Steel channel di pasaran Indonesia dengan menggunakan program CUFSM. Ada enam tipe profil channel yang digunakan. Pada ke-6 profil tersebut dilakukan perubahan dimensi h/b dengan panjang penampang sama sesuai tipe profil, panjang profil 1 m. Profil dianalisis dengan ketebalan 0,65 mm, 0,75 mm dan 1 mm. Dari perubahan dimensi tersebut, diamati pengaruhnya terhadap perilaku tekuk Dari hasil analisis diketahui bahwa beban tekuk elastis kritis untuk local buckling, distorlional buckling dan global buckling semakin besar seiring bertambahnya ketebalan. Besarnya rasio antara tinggi web (h) dan lebar flange (b) akan mempengaruhi kekuatan profil channel terhadap perilaku local buckling. Semakin kecil rasio h/b maka semakin besar beban kritis tekuk lokal (Perl) yang dapat ditahan profil. Selain itu penggunaan pengaku antara atau intermediate stiffener pada plat profil akan memperbesar beban tekuk kritis yang dapat ditahan profil.
