Abstract

Meskipun paving block saat ini sudah menyebar luas penggunaannya, tetapi harganya masih terlalu tinggi bagi masyarakat dan proses produksi paving block membutuhkan waktu relative lama. Untuk mempersingkat waktu perawatan paving block namun memiliki kuat tekan yang baik maka dalam penelitian ini penulis meneliti bagaimana pengaruh perawatan uap {steam curing) suhu 50°C 7 jam/hari dengan penambahan bottom ash dan batu kapur terhadap kuat tekan paving block dengan variasi persentase 5%, 10%, 15% dan 20%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh perawatan uap (steam curing) suhu 50°C 7 jam/hari dengan penambahan batu kapur 15% dengan kuat tekan mencapai 189.82 Kg/cm2 persentase perubahan kuat tekan paving block normal mencapai 21.06%. Selisih kuat tekan dengan perawatan konvensional 7 hari 15.14% . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh perawatan uap (steam curing) suhu 50°C 7 jam/hari dengan penambahan batu kapur 15% dengan kuat tekan mencapai 182.17 Kg/cm2 persentase perubahan kuat tekan paving block normal mencapai 16.18%. Selisih kuat tekan dengan perawatan konvensional 7 hari 13.4% .
