Abstract

Profil baja ringan (cold formed Steel) adalah jenis profil baja yang memiliki dimensi ketebalan relatif tipis dengan rasio dimensi lebar setiap elemen profil terhadap tebalnya sangat besar. Walaupun termasuk dalam elemen struktur yang tipis (thin walled structures), pemakaiannya juga telah meluas. Ide dari pembuatan struktur baja ringan adalah untuk mendapatkan kekuatan maksimum dari material yang relatif tipis. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah Juli scale test dan diuji dengan cara semi-continous loading. Pengujian yang dilakukan berupa uji lentur pada spesimen balok beton bertulang menggunakan besi tulangan polos dan balok beton menggunakan cold formed. Mutu beton yang digunakan adalah /’c = 20 MPa. Pengujian dilakukan terhadap empat buah spesimen, yaitu dua buah spesimen ukuran 15 x 20 x 250 cm dan dua buah specimen ukuran 15 x 30 x 250 cm. Hasil penelitian di laboratorium menunjukkan bahwa spesimen balok beton C-SR 15 x 30 x 250 menerima beban maksimum terbesar diantara spesimen-spesimen lainnya.
