Abstract

The research enlltled Unication of Watershed (DAS) by Society Sakatiga lndralaya Ogan Ilir Regency. This research know the cond1flon of public health in watershed area and support mg factor pusher of Sakatiga villagers living in watershed area (DAS) of Sakatiga lndralaya Regency of Ogan Ilir. The research uses descriptive qualitative method that describes descriptive data of phenomena studied with community analysis unit. In the determination of informants using purposive sampling with the aim of obtaining more detailed information in accordance with research problems. research strategy used is phenomenology strategy with data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation and in-depth interview. The results of this study that the importance of local government programs Ogan Ilir district expecially the village government Sakatiga for river basm management then the establishment of public facilities facilities bul in public baths and improve the understanding of the community through the soc1ah:at1on of the health and hygiene service related bathing washing behavior toilet, waste and household wa.1te m the watershed
