Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan kombinasi takaran kompos TKKS dan pupuk N, P dan K yang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman ubi kayu (.Manihot utilissima Pohl.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kebun petani Desa Sukasari, Kecamatan Talang Kelapa, Kota Palembang, Sumatera Selatan, dari bulan Agustus 2010 sampai dengan bulan Februari 2011. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan dua faktor perlakuan. Faktor pertama yaitu takaran kompos TKKS (A) dengan empat taraf perlakuan : A1 = 5 ton.ha'1; A2 = 10 ton.ha-1; A3 = 15 ton.ha'1; A4 = 20 ton.ha'1. Faktor kedua yaitu campuran pupuk Urea, SP36 dan KC1 (B) dengan empat taraf perlakuan : Bq = 0 kg.ha'1; Bi = 265 kg.ha'1; B2 = 530 kg.ha'1; B3 = 795 kg.ha'1. Penelitian ini disusun secara tabulasi dengan 16 kombinasi perlakuan yaitu A1B0, A2B0, A3B0, A4B0, AIBI, A2B1, A3B1, A4B1, A1B2, A2B2, A3B2, A4B2, A1B3, A2B3, A3B3 and A4B3. Parameter yang diamati adalah pengamatan terhadap tinggi tanaman (cm), lilit batang (cm), jumlah daun (helai), klorofil daun, kandungan N, P, K daun, berat segar daun (kg), total panjang batang (cm), berat batang (kg) dan berat umbi (kg). Kombinasi perlakuan A2B2 memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap tinggi tanaman, berat segar daun, total panjang batang, berat umbi dan berat batang.
