Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leverage and liquidity on profitability in tourism, restaurant, and hotel sub-sector companies for the period 2012 – 2021. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange through the company's financial reports. Purposive sampling is used and 18 companies are selected as study sample. Random model effect is used to analyze the data. The results show that leverage has a negative and significant effect on profitability, and liquidity is found to have a positive and significant effect on profitability.
