Abstract

Penetian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan hasil kedelai yang ditumpangsarikan dengan jagung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Agro Techno Park (ATP) dari bulan Oktober 2011 sampai Januari 2012. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang disusun secara Faktorial terdiri dari dua faktor dan tiga ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah jumlah baris yang terdiri dari tiga taraf, yaitu P1 (tiga baris kedelai satu baris jagung), P2 (dua baris kedelai satu baris jagung ), P3 (satu baris kedelai satu baris jagung ) dan faktor kedua selang waktu tanam (W) tiga taraf, yaitu W1 ( tanam bersamaan), W2 (selang dua minggu setelah kedelai), W3 (selang dua minggu setelah jagung ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah baris yang terbaik adalah P1 (tiga baris kedelai 1 baris jagung) untuk kedelai dan P3 (satu baris kedelai satu baris jagung) untuk jagung sedangkan selang waktu tanam yang terbaik adalah W3 (dua minggu setelah tanam kedelai), dan sesuai analisis Nisbah Kesetaraan Lahan (NKL) = 1, bahwa pola tanam tumpangsari ini belum menguntungkan, hal ini menunjukkan kurang efisien dalam penggunaan lahan.
