Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of educandy media on students' learning motivation in economicsu at SMAN 1 Tungkal Jaya. This research is a type of experimental research that uses a Pre-Experimental Design research with the form of One Group Pretest – Posttest Design. The population in the study was all class X of SMAN 1 Tungkal Jaya, totaling 5 classes. Sampling in this study used the Cluster Random Sampling technique and class X4 was obtained as the experimental class sample. The data collection techniques are used questionnaires and observation forms. Data analysis techniques in this study were obtained from pre-test questionnaire data and post-test questionnaire data as well as observation data during learning using educandy media. The hypothesis using the t-test and the results obtained are t_count(4.44603) > t_table(1.70133) then H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of educandy media on students' learning motivation in economics subjects at SMAN 1 Tungkal Jaya. It is recommended that educators be able to choose features such as words, matching pairs, and quiz questions that are appropriate and interesting from the Educandy media used so that the appearance of the Educandy media can be understood by students, and for further research to be able to select features such as words, matching pairs, and quiz questions that are appropriate to be applied in developing educational media during the learning process.
