Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang efektivitas pembelajaran fisika menggunakan lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) berbasis problem based learning (PBL) pada materi fluida statis siswa kelas XI SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah lembar kerja peserta didik yang digunakan sudah efektif jika diterapkan dalam pembelajaran fisika. Penelitian menggunakan metode quasi experimentdengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group yang dilaksanakan di salah satu SMA di Palembang. Sampel penelitiandipilih menggunakan teknik purposive samplingterdiri dari 32 siswa kelas XI SMA. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan tes dalam bentuk esai. Didapatkan rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen 35,62dan kelas kontrol 40,15. Setelah treatment, rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen 71,09 dan kelas kontrol 56,56. Berdasarkan analisis N-gain, didapatkan N-gain kelas eksperimen 0,55 dengan kategori sedang dan N-gain kelas kontrol 0,27 dengan kategori rendah. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwapembelajaran fisika menggunakan lembar kerja berbasis problem based learning efektif digunakan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
