Abstract
This study aims to prove the effect of digital literacy on readiness to become teachers in the era of society 5.0 in Economics Education students at the Teaching and Education Faculty, Sriwijaya University. This type of causal associative research with quantitative methods using questionnaires and interview data collection techniques. The research sample is Sriwiaya University Economics Education students for the 2020 academic year. The data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis t-test. The results of a simple regression analysis by testing the hypothesis using the t-test obtained the results t_count > t_table, namely 21.813 > 1.667, which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus there is an influence of digital literacy on the readiness to become teachers in the era of society 5.0 for students of Economic Education at the Teaching and Education Faculty, Sriwijaya University. It is recommended for Economics Education students to increase social interaction by establishing good communication with people around them and practicing speaking in front of many people, so that they are used to interacting with school members, especially students when they become teachers in the era of society 5.0.
