Abstract

This study entitled "Effect of interpersonal communication effectiveness on employee performance (study on employee of health training center of south sumatera province) The purpose of this research is to know whether there is influence and how big of interpersonal communication effectiveness to employee performance Health Training Center of South Sumatera Province. The theory used in this study is the theory put forward by Joseph A. Di Vito ( 1986, 70-75). and theory according to Mitchel in the book Sedarmayanti (200 I: 5 I) on Employee Performance. The research method in this research is quantitative method. Data analysis techniques used in this study there are two namely, quantitative descriptive techniques and explanativetechniques. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of interpersonal communication has a significant effect on the performance of employees because in this study based on the value t is known that the value of t_hitung 4,866> t_table 2.013 so it can be concluded that the variables effectiveness of interpersonal communication effect on employee performance variable. Thus Ha is accepted and HO is rejected. So it can be concluded that the variable X there is a significant influence on the variable Y. From the results of testing the hypothesis proved that "There Effect the effectiveness of interpersonal communication on employee performance is the employee Health Training Center of South Sumatra Province" . In this study also obtained R Square value of 0, 340. So it can be interpreted that the effectiveness of interpersonal communication has a contribution influence of 34% on employee performance.
