Abstract
This study aims to prove the effect of interest in becoming a teacher Against Learning Achievement in Student Education Courses FKIP University Economics Education. The population in this study namely students of economics education at Sriwijaya University for the 2019 Academic Year which totaled 66 students. Sampling using the technique the sampling used in this study is proportional random sampling. In taking proportional random sampling, all individuals has the same opportunity to be selected by taking 57 student. Data collection techniques are questionnaires and documentation. On collecting questionnaire data obtained results of interest in becoming a teacher with a total of 57 students, there are 16 students get very good category with percentage of 33.12%, 18 students get good category with percentage 31.86% and 23 students get the sufficient category with a percentage 35.00%. test the significance of the correlation coefficient using the z-test and get the result Zcount = 7.415 in accordance with the test conditions with a significance level of 5% if Zcount > Ztable, then H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected and vice versa. Then Ztable obtained 1.96, from these results it can be seen that 7.415 > 1.96 means that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. So, there is an influence of interest in being teachers on learning achievement in student education courses Sriwijaya University economics education
